Plain welded mesh is a common metal mesh product, usually made of cold-rolled ribbed steel bars or cold-rolled round steel bars, which are arranged at right angles in the longitudinal and transverse directions, and all intersection points are connected by electric welding at a certain spacing. Features: It has the characteristics of firm welding and strong prestress. The use of plain welded mesh can improve project quality, simplify the construction process, shorten the construction period by about twice, save 33% of steel, reduce the cost by 30%, and increase efficiency by 75%.
Specifications and dimensions: Plain welded mesh has various specifications. The mesh sizes include 30mm×30mm, 50mm×50mm, 70mm×70mm, etc. The common wire diameters are Φ3.5mm, Φ4mm, Φ6mm, etc. The size of the mesh sheet can be customized according to requirements, such as 2400mm×900mm.
Uses: It is mainly used in various reinforced concrete structure projects such as bridges, expressways, tunnel back panels, high-rise floors, subway culverts, power plant projects, dam foundations, ports and wharves, river embankment protection walls, and airport runways. It can also be used for the support and protection of various mine roadways, shafts, and construction tunnels.
Quality requirements: The mesh wires must not have bite marks that affect use, and the reduction rate of steel wire strength caused by processing must not exceed 10%. There must be no uncoupling between the mesh wires in the mesh sheet, and each mesh wire within the width range of the mesh sheet must be a complete one without joints in the middle. The surface of the mesh wire should be smooth, without bubbles, cracks, scars, folds, burrs, etc., and should be fully galvanized with a uniform metallic luster.
